Mifta Chowdhury is a Bangladeshi-born British Chef & Restaurateur who has lived and worked in Surrey for all of his professional life. Over the past 23 years he has been the owner of 3 successful Indian restaurants: Planet Spice in Guildford, Mahe Indian restaurant in Dorking and The Rajasthan restaurant in Godalming. Mifta is especially known for his ability to produce high standard, tantalizing Indian food, tasting fresh and rich due to it being flavoured with his unique blend of herbs & spices. This combination of amazing Indian cuisine catering for a wide range of clientele coupled with a beautiful environment able to seat over 100 people along with excellent customer service are the elements Mifta brings with him to Mifta’s fine Indian dining restaurant in Alton.
